I would certainly contact CS, £65pm does seem a trifle steep especially when the old XXL-BB deal with a phone was £35pm + £11pm , it would appear that you have been over charged these last few months.

Re: 50MB Broadband now just £18 per month
To add confusion ... My coleague in work is getting a 10MB service (upgraded from 4MB FREE) and paying £20, whilst I'm paying £25 for the same service.
But pack to the point .. especially the 50MB being advertised for £18 and £28 after 3 months..
If I go to Tesco's a pick up a tin of bins for 7p, and get to the till and they tell me your a regular and that the price advertised is discounted and that the beans to me are 20p then this would be deemed misleading and incorrect pricing?
I'm no legal beagle but from the business law I've done I'm sure this is wrong. I've emailed http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/ and asked for this to be investigated - if we can get more complaints logged with them then perhaps they will force VirginMedia to ensure that their pricing is both fair, and that what they advertise is what they sell.
They should advertise what the PRICE is, not what the price is to get you interested is!

Re: 50MB Broadband now just £18 per month
Why do people keep on making something out of nothing?
It is quite clear on the page for the XXL service that the £18 price is for 3 months
It says:
£18 a month*
for 3 months, £28 after that
If you go to consumer direct over that they will probably tell you to go away

Hi,
I'd be totally happy if I could get 50MB for £28 But I can't I can only get this for £54!
So that's were my complaint is - not even that I can't get this for £18. And that I believe is misleading advertisment.
Cheers

Re: 50MB Broadband now just £18 per month
What should XXL BB, XL TV and XL Phone cost?
The web site is saying £57 but was saying £56.50 last week!
I'm assuming that the web site bundle thingy hasn't been updated yet.

Re: 50MB Broadband now just £18 per month
Existing customer site says £45 for 50mb now, new customer price £38... (after the 3 month discount)...
When are they going to stop ripping off the existing customers?

According to the Virgin Webby it has click here, but looking at my last bill it hasn't changed.
£30/month for stand alone XL BB and £20/month with phone line @ £11/month. Does anyone know whether the new price is automatically charged or do you have to ring up and get new price?

That's the "New Customer" Price... Existing customers get to pay £37.

Re: 50MB Broadband now just £18 per month
£37 is before any bundle discounts for all customers
The £20 price on the web is after a £17 discount
The £30 standalone price is after a £7 discount
