YOUR MISSING A ARM AND A LEG! I would be less worried about what to take out side and more about getting yourself outside! :O

Re: if you could only save 3 things
After getting my family out, I would save my Pets, Keys & Phone (can use that to replace everything else).

Re: if you could only save 3 things
I prefer Granny Weatherwax's take on this question
There's a fire in your house, you can only take one thing out, what would you take?
Well the fire...

Do you have a tarantula or an Iguana or something?? just with you saying cute isnt the word.
I would save.....
1.) The Dog
And thats about it really, everything else is either too heavy to be worth the risk (PC, TV, etc) or is insured anyway (Laptop, mobile, etc)

Almost exactly what I was going to say, the household documents folder is usually worth more than all the possesions inside the house put together.
I thinks that I would swap the underpants for the photo album collection, with some being dead they are irreplaceable.
I'm no longer a boy but I'm still a scout

Re: if you could only save 3 things
Depends who was in the house at the time.
I suppose it would be Clio (my dog), her lead and car harness!
Or if it was a weekend it would be Paul, the dog, and whichever of my 2 daughters was in residence (they seem to be avoiding each other at the moment! )
And photos - I have some of my Dad which can't be replaced
