Re: Football Season 2011/12
If there was any other man in the Liverpool job the fans would have been demanding his head weeks ago. How long can "King" Kenny go on like this?

How can you possibly not be happy with a 1 - 0 at Goodison? Chelsea lost. Spurs Drew. We went to third. Everton have beaten so many teams at home this season.

For as long as he wants because at least he has won a trophy and has a chance of another one..

I'm not displeased with the win

I'm unhappy with the subs. I'm unhappy with the way we've thrown away chances to score. We got lucky with the lineo giving Everton the offside flag when they were onside.
Its been a decent night elsewhere for us but our game was played at Goodison and Wenger pushed it to the limit, and our lads wasn't as clinical as they should have been.

He's got them a pretty good kit deal though
That result almost makes up for Chelsea throwing it away.

Re the Spurs game, l always thought that if the game was abandon, then the next game should only be 45minutes, as the score was 1-1 when it finished.
Isn't that a bit unfair - as surely the game is a replay ?

Re: Football Season 2011/12
Could be worse... could have been Northampton Town. Stunning goal by Coates though - that was worth the admission price.
The players gave up on 4th place weeks ago which is disappointing.... Anything between 5th place and the safety zone is merely bragging rights, while this should be no excuse for not having the correct mental attitude towards how you play this is obviously something of a growing problem.

Especially when an onside Everton goal is called offside, even the blind listening to it on the radio saw it was onside.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
Spurs MUST sort out the Harry business before we lose out to our arch rivals.
We were a lot of points devided, now we are in FOURTH place.
Spurs were poor tonight, and l blame the England job.

Meh. Last year Everton's goal was onside. It was a lucky break but we got the points in the end. Everton have beaten City, Spurs and Man City up there this season. It's a great result.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
indeed it was a good result. Rosicky was clearly fouled in the box that could have easily been a free kick or a peno.

doesnt work like that. the game was abandoned thats it, it means nothing. and no its not a replay or it would be played at The Reebox. its a rearrangement of the fixture if anything after the first attempt to complete the fixture failed.
if this newly arranged fixture ends level after 90mins a replay will be played at The Reebox. If its level after 90mins in the second tie/replay then itll go to extra time and then penos if its still level.
