They need more strength in depth if they are to win the title this season in my opinion.

I think Arsenal will sign a striker in January. Even if its a stop gap.

A nice early goal to upset Arthur.

Don't get too excited, spurs still have their mandatory penalty.

Don't think anyone would score against Tim Krul today!

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
After criticism of the Newcastle defence that was something extraordinary. Tim Krul take a bow. Credit to Goufrann too, what a game he had, the assist and played at LM and LB.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
This is by far the worst performance l have ever seen from Spurs - they were ****.
Why does AVB keep playing Soldado, when we have Defoe on the bench along with Lamela, who scored recently.
IF, Nicholson was the boss, he would have dropped Soldado by now.
I can honestly see AVN being fired by Xmas, if things don't improve. Levy has spent a lot of money this season so won't be happy if they don't get Champion League football. Spurs cannot rely on the egg cup (Europa) to get into Europe.
No poor performance.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
I also believe that RED CARDS should be shown to players who DIVE in the box, following yesterday's horrendous decision in the Chelsea game.
We hear managers and players say that this has to be driven out of the game, BUT then it has to be imposed on the game.

Defoe came on, he was invisible. At the start of the season you were bragging how Soldado was the greatest signing in the history of the world.
