I wonder why they have "Auto" in the diary on the right hand column then. If there is no alternative to Auto then why waste the space telling you?

I prefer the auto reminders. Never use the manual ones. If I decide not to watch something I just press cancel when the reminder comes on screen. Was the same when I had sky, always auto reminders.

I can only suppose it is for the transition from the old version - people would be used to the old format!

Why is it that when i want to change channel from 140 (sky one) to 144 (E4) it goes to 101? So far CR3 is doing my head in, along with those rubbish remote controls that barely work.

Can't say I've seen this happen on my boxes or any of the ones in the office. Is it when you use channel up/down?

If so you may have set the favourites before on CR2 and reseting them will get things back to normal.

You can change it so the reminder appears for up to 7 minutes before the program. Is there any specific reason you need the manual option and not just an automatic switch?

Has the Andover date been changed as no guide has come through the post, and no software update either (although from previous posts this could be that the updates for the version of the box are not being played out yet).

Just curious.

I also live in hemel and there is no sign of the LCR3 update today also channel ntl: has not updated either , does anyone know what is happening.

Have you actually read Sam's post?

Downloads start FROM 29th April.

If I'm not mistaken today is the 29th and from doesn't neccesarily mean that you will get the update today.

Yes but the reason we are wondering if it happend today is because channel ntl usualy changes to showing the how to guide but in hemel is has not!

Eoin, did you get the handbook? I'm in Andover and haven't received a copy, and channel 120 is still extolling the virtues of various talk plans on the phones.

Yes i have recieved the book but as i said channel ntl is still showing the some old rubbish!
