Far be it for me to suggest that CS would stretch the truth a little to keep you happy...

According to Tech Support, nobody within VM has any more up-to-date information than what's on the VM EvenFaster schedule (the link to the schedule doesn't seem to be working right now).

Just be patient and keep an eye on this thread and/or the schedule?

Hi cleshe,
I've never monitored the event log before.
The entry prior to those above is dated Jan 26th, which made me beleive it was some kind of upgrade...

Not one to be a "hope dampner" either but the top two lines say that although an upgrade filename was specified, it's the same as... - one assumes it's chopped off "...the one you already have"

Re: Virgin 4Mb to upgrade to 10Mb February - Summer

are there different traffic sharing rules for people who have been upgraded to 10mb? do we get a bigger allowance between 4 and 9pm than the 4mb users? anyone know?

cheers

The Watford franchise area includes Amersham and Aylesbury and surrounding areas. I'm just outside Watford and my 4M went up to 10M last week after a modem reboot.

AFAIK those log entries are due to the VM initiative to stop modem cloning.

No indication of an upgrade I'm afraid...

Well I know that, but the link works I've been getting more up to date info from VM's newsgroups. Like the Edinburgh upgrade was only partially completed , upgrade work has been done so the upgrade should be completed sometime in the newt few weeks.....hopefully
