Yup looks like DNS has taken a break to enjoy the weather.

Here in SN5 same problem BBC down, hotmail down etc - nothing mentioned on the NTL status page. Great customer service yet again!

I am in Portsmouth area and just recently i have had to switch to LAN settings to read my Yahoo emails whereas about an hour ago my LAN were off and i could read emails perfectly

Here in Cambridge, no yahoo, microsoft etc. intermittant google. maybe the rain frazzled the dns server!

Yes, not as good as I thought earlier on. Some sites OK, then they fail??
BBC Traceroute pings packets still OK, but ping times are all over the place.
A few moments ago, BBC IP address not resolved. Hurry up NTL and get it sorted!! - Can't seem to make up it's mind. I'm in B78 area.

Problems in Stockport too.
No Google, Ebay or Amazon - email fine though. Would guess it's a DNS issue seeing as it's affecting such a wide range of people.

ntl DNS Servers down in Portsmouth?
Is anyone else having problems? I tried connecting to MSN, had to run the troubleshooter and it says there is a DNS error. Should I change my proxies?
