Of course it is...no-one is being cut off for going over a cap. Suggest you have a read of the T&Cs yourself.

Ah! You're right, it was Wanadoos AD. It's still bad advertising though

*Edit! Just read their page and 8meg is what you *MIGHT* get for £14.99 dependant on how *FAR* you are from the exchange and *IF* your line can handle it and *IF* you live in the right area and you like a 2GB cap

Well, if you're a serial downloader that doesn't have any consideration for other users, then I'm glad you're not with them either!!!

We all pay for our connection so why shouldn't people take advantage of it, it sounds very nice what you are saying but it is just too unrealistic. Tiscali or any other isp that advertises their server as unlimited then complains about dl usage at certain times should re-word their marketing. Yes im glad im not with them otherwise they would of got an email off me as well.

Re: Tiscali unlimited 1Meg, £14.99

I think as long as the terms are laid down clearly when you enter into them, then it's not a big problem to me. If you enter into any complex agreement such as the provision of broadband only by taking into account the headline offer and not the T&Cs then you would deserve all you got.

If you are a heavy downloader then I would expect you have read the conditions, decided against signing up and paid another ISP that did not ask you to be a considerate downloader.

Re: Tiscali unlimited 1Meg, £14.99

What has £25 per month got to do with it?

I think maybe you need to read the price as well as the T&Cs
