Re: TCM movie channel RIP...
Apparently, Virgin removed TCM +1 early at just after midnight, meaning that viewers missed the last 10 minutes of The Excorcist!!

Re: TCM movie channel RIP...
Whereas Sky removed TCM and TCM+1 it during the afternoon (mid-programme) so you missed a whole evening's worth of programmes.
It is normal practice - the channels know it.

Cracking channel too. Mainly British films/classic TV series which is welcome.
TCM is/was mostly US movies , presumably the owners still hold the rights to showing them even if they don't now show them. Let's hope someone else picks up their output.
Good old Film 4 is still there too, however don't seem to make many of their own films these days.

They stated Quest was going to pick up some of TCM's output but thus so far that sounds like lip service.

Seen them advertising comedy films on Quest when watching HGTV , but not followed it up so no details was waiting for phone call so flicked channels, sad I know, great TV seemed to have a lot of old films, again.of no interest to me, Netflix gives me more than I could possibly watch
