So you feel a landlord has no right to place limits on what goes on in his or her properties?

These days, no they dont.
You cannot set rules based on religion, or sex, or race, so why should what you eat or drink be any different.
Either you allow landlords to set rules or you dont. These days "dont" seems to be the only option.

I don't think a landlord should be able to make rules of the tenants eating habits (within reason) anyway.
