Re: Tamiflu resistant swine flu
Just because your paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you
Other than an aching arm, I haven't had any of the listed side effects. I think the more major side effects are if you have particular underlying issues already...
That hospital is a 5 minute walk from us, and many local people work there, so I hope they can contain it.
We're still waiting for the swine flu jab... the local doc reckons we might have to wait "until Xmas or into the early New Year".... despite the missus and daughter having "severe underlying health conditions"...
So much for the rapid program of vaccination we were promised...
Might your paediatrician not be able to speed things up given the situation with your children? We're seeing ours this week and it'll be the first topic of conversation on the list.
The hospital is having nothing to do with it all... it's down to the GPs to fill their quotas to get their bonuses... if they can get people past the reception staff...

Yes I appreciate that - I just meant that your paed may be willing/able to make a case to your GP in order to get you greater priority. Worrying times these for those with vulnerable lioved ones...
The triage of who gets what and when is all down to the GP's admin staff unfortunately.... even our superb Paeds Con would not be able to short circuit the system ( he has been trying for years to get our son moved up a surgery list to no avail ).
