I'm in clover......
Are you getting a second V+ or just paying £75 for your already working V+ box for some reason as you say no installation, does not make sense.

Re: V+ Query

right I see the confusion...

It would appear that when I had moved to the VIP package (circa 2yrs ago) I had my V+ installed and standard box moved without paying any installation costs, however they put £10 on my monthly bills for the pleasure.

So when I requested a V+ box (ie a 2nd V+) to replace my standard they wanted an install charge of £50 AND an extra £10 per month....it was this I wasn't happy with.

So, after speaking with retentions, they looked at my history to understand what had occurred etc..... thus being able to charge a reduced retrospective install fee of £75 which enabled them to whipe out not only the additional monthly cost of £10 but also the £10 additional following my initial install...

I hope your able to follow this, 'cos i think I'm struggling myself now....

Re: V+ Query

The early adopters were extremely screwed on the V+ Subscription.

Fair enough we agreed to pat the extra tenner a month for extra functionality, but the only way to not pay 10 pound a month forever is to pay a £75 "installation" fee.

I couldn't afford that £75 in one go, so I had no choice but to pay the £10 until the end of eternity.

Luckily one day phoning to change my package cost down to nearer a "new customer" rate, one of the customer service reps offered to remove the charge for me.

IMO those who have now paid nearly £300 in V+ rental, should now get those charges removed for fairness sake.

Re: V+ Query

This is not an early adopter issue but VIP charging which is different. When you come off VIP because you want to reduce your charges, you have to pay the V+ conversion fee to have the V+ £10 monthly charge removed.

This has all be discussed ad nauseam before.
