Re: For joglynne and other cat lovers.
aw, look at all the cute pusscats!
shame our 2 have been a nightmare today especially, they just don't get on.
they've both been neutered, got feliway... they have to be in seperate rooms. Leave a door ajar for a split second and one will be at the other. Huge tufts of fur today, and then our main cat (as opposed to the recent adoptee) decided that I should feel his pain and attacked me too. I was then too afraid to be near my own cat and stood alone in the kitchen. haven't seen any blood between any cats or me (well not today anyway) thank goodness. Wonder if any charities will take either of them right now - it's high season for 'donations' isn't it...

It may be high season Lauzip but organizations such as Cats Protection can be really understanding and it may be worth giving your local branch a tcall.

Thinking about it more it could be to do with the fact we have a dog that could be making Felix feel unappreciated ?? Although they do get along very well and respect each other's space. I think he even thought the dog was his mother at one point when he was younger.
Its more of a learn as you go experience here this being our first cat. He likes to sleep ALOT ! but I just find this is normal. I read the odd book and sometimes when he does something strange I will look it up on the net but I think at the end of the day that all cats are diffrent. They really do have their own personality and our is just grumpy lol.
Still wouldnt swap him for anything and he is loving when he wants to be. I think he is just trying to show he is boss at times lol. Strange how you become attactched to your pets so fast isn't it
Look at me going on lol I will try to keep my post's shorter now
EDIT** Sorry to OP for high-jacking your thread.

That's ok.I did say it was for other cat lovers and I love cats too especially looking at them
In fact I quite like it when we are shown members' pets.I used to enjoy Lew's threads about his pet rats..

Re: For joglynne and other cat lovers.
To balance foreverwar's bad cat I give you my latest desktop.
It combines my favorite elements for a successful desktop. It's black, shiny and, just in case you hadn't noticed my predilection for felines, it's got a cat on it.
I just wish I could claim that it's my own work but I'm not that an accomplished photographer unfortunately.

LOL. I have more pictures of my cats seen from the rear than any thing else in my albums.

Re: For joglynne and other cat lovers.
I used to not like cats but I am more and more falling in love with them.
I looked after a few kittens at my grans house and they were great.
Here's a pic:

Re: For joglynne and other cat lovers.
All but one of our cats have come to us as adults and we have only ever had one kitten. They are so appealing and your grans kitten looks like a real character. He looks like he is stalking a shoe lace to me.

I notice the cat gets the furry cushion. Your dog obviously doesn't risk living dangerously.
