Re: Control Richard Branson for a day

How many other companies out there have changed there name and have got better for it .?
The company needs to look inside themselves and listen to to the people who work for them on the shop floor and also the customers.

Re: Control Richard Branson for a day

Changing the name alone won't do it. But that's not what it's about. The Virgin brand is worth a fortune becasue of its reputation.

There is tremendous confidence in Richard Branson for a reason.

I remember a lot of people said the brand would be dead after the dreadful start with train services. Guess what? Now, each time I travel by train on Virgin it's the best train journey I've ever had. the Virgin Active gym I use is the best I've ever been to. My old Virgin mobile service was terrific.

What happens is the staff go through some sort of customer-focused brainwashing and the company ethos changes.

We should all celebrate this change - I guarrantee it will be way better than before if you just give it time.

I work for a company that blew a couple of million rebranding itself as Consignia. More like 'Dementia.'

Then it got changed again after 18 months or so.
