Seen that before and personally I don't think it is worth the paper it's (not) written on.

a) it's probably subject to the usually 'Safe Harbour' rubbish. (These are just predictions and it's not our fault if they don't happen etc.).
b) it's a Shareholder presentation and not really intend for Customers so doesn't really count as an announcement.
c) Telewest are planning to launch a PVR in the 2nd Half of 2005 and they've not only announced that fact they've also released details of the actual PVR they will be using. If NTL are really going to release a PVR in the same timescale as Telewest then surely they should have some idea of what they are doing already.

I appreciate all the problems NTL have had in the past with announcing things and not delivering them and then getting slated for it, but as those of you who live in London know, 'Coming Soon' has a strange meaning in NTL speak.

The famous ntl "coming soon" is nationwide, & not just restricted to those in London I can assure you.
