query I have seen a lot of these, but the one I was given was in number form only eg 64.86.123:8080 so can writen forms be put in the same box? Sorry if this seems idiotic but this side is new to me.

yes the text can be typed/pasted in the address box & 8080 into the port box.

Or if you prefer the IP is 80.1.224.4 for the address & 8080 again for the port.
