Just had a good night is all. And yes some were a struggle. If it counted the number of retries...
I have very limited play time the next 2 weeks as I'm working away a lot and wont have my xbox with me! Should give you plenty chance to beat some of the times.
Best advise I can give is to view some of the replays of the best times and take some tips from that. From the track selection screen, hit Y for leaderboards then either view friends replays or Overall and hit Y again to play the replay. You will be able to watch the run back in slow motion if you want and see all the button presses at the bottom right. Gave me a lot of ideas.

Lol yes! I'm still trying to get used to it although the lettering going green to indicate what I can say certainly helps. I won a copy of Just Dance 2014 at work the other day and my daughter has been playing it but there seems to be worryingly few Kinect-based games. I've downloaded Xbox Fitness which looks good and I'll be trying later, a mate of mine bought Sports Rivals and gave up on it so he's letting me have it this week and the reviews seem good enough to give it a try, are there any plans for more Kinect games at all? As long its tech works well (and so far I've found it to be ok) it seems like there's loads of potential but I'm a bit surprised there's not more out there to utilise it.

Thanks for the tip, I also won't get much play time for a week or so as on late shift, but I will keep trying to improve my times until I get bored.

Re: The Xbox One Thread
Before I had my x52 joystick I was playing with an xbox 360 controller. It played fine with that.

Re: The Xbox One Thread
Surely you'll be able to plug in a USB keyboard to play Elite.

Re: The Xbox One Thread
Nope.
Apparently it works very well with an Xbox controller anyway.
Dilli said he used to use a 360 pad, and David Braben himself uses an Xbox controller...
