Well we only got £10m up front, he obviously never did enough to allow us to get the add ons that would have taken it to 15. We've paid £3m to get him back, rising to £6m, which in our team he'll probably manage. So United are only £4m down until you factor in loan fees from us and Cardiff and realise they probably broke even.
What we're left with is a fantastic academy product who already knows that the grass isn't greener so we should do alright out of it but it might not have gone that way, and for what? If our chairman hadn't fought for him he'd be yet another poor United signing discarded early. Fortunately for him we've made sure that didn't happen and provided him again with the chance of a career. He is indeed the lucky one.
Just look how long it took Routledge to get his career back on track after Spurs turned his head. I hope Zaha is an object lesson to all our young kids.

There's been so many object lessons for them, we have one called Reece Oxford that's being courted over and over before he's even old enough to sign an adult contract, fortunately it seems like he has seen sense and will sign with us but what's the point of the club training and developing his talent for him to be tapped up and stolen for peanuts.

Ozil finally starting to repay the astronomical fee that Arsenal forked out for him.

Kane should have been sent off not booked for his studs up challenge earlier.
Bad luck Arsenal.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
Find myself in the pretty awful position of wanting a Liverpool win. Only side in the bottom half to win today so far.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
Quite. MacArthur and a Leicester player were involved in a challenge in front of the dugouts, which resulted in them both tripping over each other. MacArthur bundled into Pearson and knocked him over. It looked like they were initially laughing with each other, but then Pearson appeared to be holding MacArthur down with both hands around his (MacArthur's) neck. After MacArthur managed to free himself and stand up Pearson held on to his arm/shirt for a few seconds preventing him from returning to the pitch.
The game was ongoing for the entire incident.
Not sure what to make of it, but I expect there to be some action taken against him.
Leicester had a lot of possession and a few chances but they are really prone to errors at the back, don't appear to have anything close to an actual striker and their manager looks like he's let the pressure of it all really get to him. They're down - two to go. Southampton's late winner was very welcome!

Re: Football Season 2014/15
Its surprising that the BBC don't mention a thing on their website about the incident.
