Peter Docherty was over Top Gear, but cancelled when he discovered it was a car program.

It's a good line going around but I don't think the BBC should be consistent with their mistakes from decades ago. They can't fix the mistakes from the past but they can ensure they operate correctly now and in this incidence they did what they were obliged to do.
