Do you think Ronaldo was planning on leaving Man U before the dogs that call themselves fans of football set upon him?

Why should he expect United to stick up for him though?
He is a big boy now, responsible for his own actions. He did it not playing for his club, but for his country.
What would United say? "Please lay off Ronaldo, he's a good lad really"?
Please note the date on this report. It was prior to the England match. So yes, I think that he was planning on leaving.

I've read your posts thanks. Because you have summed it up, I have to agree to your ways of thinking? I have to or others see your views as the final thought on the matter. I don't have to nor do others have to do such thing.

Now to my other points? I wasn't aware I had made such a point - please state where I had, then you can raise this question to me.
FYI - I merely stated that, I know a cheat when I see one. If a professional and international soccer player has to keep diving in the penalty area and making it look like he was pushed or shoved or whatever, its trying to rob the opposing team, a goal - this isn't a football game, where players, play a 'true' game of soccer and its a sad state of affairs and Ronaldo only has himself to blame for gaining such a 'Cry wolf' reputation.

Again, another issue you have raised with me that has absolutely no relevance to what I have posted.
If your going to hold a 'proper' debate with me - try to go over the points 'I' made not what others may or may not of posted.

He would probably do a better job than Tord Grip or do you mean Faria Alam and we all know what he used to do to her

The thing that makes me laugh is that England fans pretend to be on some serious crusade about diving, but where are all the posts slagging off Gerrard for diving in a meaningless friendly match to win a penalty before the World Cup? Don't remember many England fans being too upset when they beat the Argies via a Owen dive.
Fact is the world cup has been full of diving and cheating not just from Ronaldo, why does he get singled out?

Aaahh I see. It's ok to cheat as long as you aren't blatant about it?

It's never all right to cheat, some people make it more of a habit than others

I hardly think they are in the same league when it comes to play acting, Ronaldo dives more times in a match than some players pass the ball, if he tripped in the tunnel he would appeal for a free kick.

And is Ronaldo solely to blame for that or is a culture thing? Look at Mourinho's Porto team, they dived all over the place.
Anyway I can think of loads of occasions where Gerrard has dived.
Here is a Gerrard special http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIzawprkcHo&mode=related

Re: [Merged] Ronaldo
I can't really think of to many involving Gerrard, it's a shame it's creeping in to his game though, he is talented enough not to need to do it. As for Ronaldo even Ron Atkinson picked up on it 'lollipop, lollipop, fall over' says it all really.

Silly questions? You mean because England need a scapegoat, like the ref they forced into hiding for 7 days for having the nerve to correctly disallow an England goal?

You can't blame us because he is going to jump ship, he has been trying to get out of Manchester for about two years now

Re: [Merged] Ronaldo
What makes me laugh even more is Ian Wright, Gerrard dives against Hungary and Wright is saying of course he should do it, Ronaldo dives and Wright is saying how disgraceful it is.
