gonna try freeserves DNS servers and see if that helps any.

yes problems here to on the wirral only just stating getting them at 22:15.

Hey, that seems to work!
Is there an easier way to set that up, as these "slow browsing" days seem to be becoming more frequent. Perhaps a bit of software that pings various proxies, and lets you choose one that actually works?

Sigh not again.
no connection to BBC, google, eBay in Woking.
And yes I've tried different proxies. Doesn't help when its a DNS problem.

Search the forum for the freeserve ones, they worked last time!

I assume by your name that you live in prenton. I also live very close to prenton and my area is actually classed as prenton but I am only now getting the problems. This is starting to get silly now this is the 3rd time this has happened to me on ntl in the past month or so.
