Re: Bromley upgrade starting....
Most (non-CR1) Bromley customers will now have BU2. The rollout is due to be complete by the end of this month.

No.
If you get broadband via your STB, then it will be briefly interrupted (for maybe a couple of minutes) as the box updates itself, but that's it.

Re: Bromley upgrade starting....
Downloads of BU2 have started today from the Southampton and Seven Kings headends. Customers who reboot their STB or leave it in Standby overnight should receive the code.

Not that I've noticed, but then I have a Samsung.
I didn't get the update on my STB, until I manually rebooted it (it's usually left on, rather than in standby). The Samsung crashed on the first reboot, but then loaded up just fine the second time.
Not quite sure about the new colour scheme. Somehow I'd got used to that lovely shade of purple

Re: Bromley upgrade starting....
I like the colour scheme, but dislike the design of the miniguide. I mean, it doesn't actually need that text on there, does it? It could so with some borders, too. And it doesn't need to stretch across the screen.
Maybe the next software version will have a redesigned miniguide to keep me happy...
