I go more for the Rick Stein 'simpler the better' approach, but some of those dishes did sound delicious.

Last night we had monkfish & chickpeas in a garlic & tomato sauce, very nice it was too

Todays breakfast..twirl choccy bar...drink...volvic...tea time...fish and chips..and two beers..supper potnoodle probally kingsize.

I like volvic always have plenty of it in stock here, although it does go off quick one opened. Only get about 1day life with it, but the climate control in my rooms heater is to keep it at 80degrees C.

The part of France it comes from is very nice down there as its a volcanic region. My Gran lives there and the air is nice, its fresh, and there are some lovely walks that really let you relax and chill out.

So I cooked Sunday lunch for all of us. Ros-beef (of course!

)
The beef went into the top oven at 10.30pm last night and into the bottom oven 45 mins later.....it came out about 14 hours later and was superb!

Served with roast potatoes, veg and gravy made from the meat juices....mmmmm

.............and horseradish

my nephew and i have just cooked chocolate cornflake cake thingys.... my nephew put more chocolate on my arms than on the cornflakes

I had tacos... Mmmmm TexMex...

Came out really nice... except I didn't drain pan with the onions and peppers in that well, so the meat was a bit too oilly. Tasted great, but won't help me lose any weight.
