Upgraded here in Leicestershire on a 120 modem after a reboot

4th 512K took 1484 ms = 345 KB/sec, approx 2843 Kbps, 2.78 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 2770 Kbps, 2.71 MbpsThe speeds not quiet 4mb tho but hopefully it will settle down and increase abit.

Well - after a modem reboot in Manchester (M38) this morning, my speed test results were around 3.8Mbps.

Did a "test" download from NTL newsgroups and did 750MB in around 25 minutes so looks like its quite a stable connection unlike some people have reported. Maybe at the end of the month after all the work is compete - everybody will have a rock solid (as can be) connection.

I'd just like to point out that all throughout this thread I haven't once moaned and complained about NTL not giving me this FREE upgrade earlier in the month, I've just sat back, relaxed and laughed at all the whinging about it. It was worth the wait!
