Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.
Check your bill online, normally charges/adjustments to your account show up immediately (in my experience).

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.
Well, in my experience they only show up when the next bill comes around, which will be a whole month away. I don't have paperless billing, but VM only show me the current bill (the last one generated on the monthly schedule) and previous bills. They do not show a running bill. How do you get one of those?

Even with paperless billing you do not get a running bill, any error takes at least a month to correct and may even go to another.

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.
I might be wrong, but I'm sure I remember my billing overview - https://my.virginmedia.com/billing/overview - showed me the £50 credit they applied to my bill (as a correction) a few minutes after I finished the phone call with them... That's as far as my knowledge goes. It does also show unbilled usage since your last bill, though I'm not sure what else that includes aside phone calls.
I'll be chasing them for another £40-60 credit tomorrow, and will see how that shows up exactly.

Thanks, but I don't know why I said that. I meant to say that I do have paperless billing.
Well, I'll just have to call up and see what happens. I'll call the special 50meg number I've seen to see if they can sort it. I didn't have that last time.

Not possible even with the first six digits which all tend to be the same on many modems so you can post the first two digits quite safely.
A lot of Ambits start with 14 or 78 and that is of no use to any hacker.

I would not hold your breath on this one. You know and i know the chances of him having one are remote.

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.
Engineer just left after my 20>50mb upgrade, nice new superhub, but no N dongle with him. Do I just give CS a call to get one?
New unit is nice and sleek, and I'm impressed with the speed wired
Just need to change me ps3 and printer settings now.

He will have some excuse as to why he cannot prove to us he has a superhub.
