It has been widely reported in local newspapers that all English regions will go HD on 21 October. This is one of them:https://www.yourlocalguardian.co.uk/...hd-21-october/

This is how rumours become interpreted as facts. We still don't know the BBC's plans for certain.

It only seems to be on newspaper sites run by Newsquest.
They run our local newspaper and get almost all their news by lifting postings from other sites or using facebook and twitter postings.

If Newsquest say it is going to happen - they it is most likely not going to happen.
