luddite
A "Luddite" is historically a 19th-century English textile worker who destroyed labor-saving machinery as a form of protest. Today, the term is commonly used to describe anyone who opposes or is resistant to new technologies and modern automation

Well that's not me, just because I don't want an iPad strapped to the front of a dashboard doesn't mean I'm a Luddite. Lol
We do have a resident Luddite on this site and his username begins with D, I'm sure everyone can guess who that is.

My Ford Kuga's Sync 3 system did an update to you could do temperature setting via the screen (as well as voice).
but they flipped the side, then removed it for no reason.

It's called muscle memory, you don't need to look to know where the switches are.
Same as you don't need to watch your fingers when playing guitar, or look at you shoes when tying your laces, and I definitely can't see my arse when I scratch it.
