Extolling the virtues of living in Spain over, say, Manchester?
Anyone notice the England U21s losing to a dive by Chelsea player? Tut, tut. None of the radio reports I heard mentioned his club, of course.

Re: [Merged] The Football Thread 2005/2006 Season
damn can't get flash player to install from work to view the Nike wesbite.. ad is meant to be pretty good even if it's not true
i heard we lost on a pen but didn't know it was a dive.. who was the player who dived. was it blatent ? was there any contact ?
looks like Ballack will be leaving Bayern.. they have withdrawn the contract.. Fergie should go for him now but he won't sign aplayer who is cup tied in the European Cup.. abit pointless that if you ask me we can't win it this season anyway and if we don't play well in the league we might not be in it next nest year anyway

Yeah the ad is pretty good, he does loads of tricks but the hits the ball from the 18 yard line off the bar and right back to him 3 or 4 times, thats all done by computers.

On that note...
Quote:
'Ballack Offered Record Deal'
Man Utd are reportedly set to offer Michael Ballack a deal that would make the German the highest-paid player in the history of the Premiership. Ballack will be available on a Bosman free next summer but he could still cost Man Utd a cool £30m.
