Proxy change 6th July 2006?

Was there a change yesterday? Trying to download from rapidshare.de has been fine for a while but now it reports my ip address wrong and always says my ip is already downloading a file or has passed its limit, like it used to. Cleethorpes area.

Any help appreciated.
John

It's quite possible they took the proxies down in your area for maintenance and you've been enjoying a direct connection to the Interweb for a while but now they've reinstated them which would produce the results you've seen.

Thanks Zeph, shame though as it was easier then. I'm using xyzproxy now so it's not too bad.

Proxies have been enabled in this area since the dawn of time.
