Is online really that good? - Is it worth the extra £5 to NTL? - Thinking of getting another XB to play online!

Do not buy NTL's console package...it's not needed to play on Xbox Live and hence is a complete and utter rip-off
Your options:
1. Simplest is direct modem connection, only your Xbox or PC can be connected to the Internet.
2. Windows Internet Connection Sharing (ICS). Good, but your PC needs to be on at all times.
3. The best way is via a Router. Plug all of your Internet enabled devices into the router, PCs and Xbox and all are connected at the same time.
4. Wireless router connecting! Sometimes the only option you have! Have a read at NTHW's new knowledge site NTLi.info for more information :p

Re: Helllooooooo boys
Hmm, will this be automatic membership for Russ into the NTHW clan?
Will his gamertag have "bald" in it somewhere?
Welcome to the community Russ, unfortunately it will now take untold amounts of your time & energy, reducing you to a shivering wreck when you have not been on for 24 hours.

No.
Actually things are going well with my xbox - I've asked it to move in with me and we've set a date for next year

cool, but don't let her start controling your life, such as going out with your mates, when you have your tea, time you 'have to' go to bed, how much money you have to spend on her....and above all don't be fooled when she says 'you have to buy me that one it's the only 'one' I want. There's only a few more before christmas'.
