Re: Which IE 2000 or XP

The answer depends on which version of XP you mean - I prefer W2000 over XP home, but prefer XP Professional over W2000.

Re: Which IE 2000 or XP

I find Windows XP Pro a lot faster, stabler and more efficient. Plus it looks nicer

Re: Which IE 2000 or XP

I found Windows XP to be more stable than Windows 2000, but I guess that everyone will have differing opinions on this.

Re: Which IE 2000 or XP

Me thinks an edit of the thread title might be in order

---------- Post added at 13:46 ---------- Previous post was at 13:41 ----------

I uesed to use Windows 2000, It proved stable, but did seem to take a while to load up. Windows XP Pro does seem faster.

XP will directly support a greater variety of hardware whilst not having drivers for some older hardware so that may or may not be an issue.

I suspect it depends on what you are running on your PC and whether XP will give you andy advantages or improved compatibility.

Re: Which OS 2000 or XP

I prefer 2000 over Windows XP Home, but XP Pro over 2000. Nothing wrong with Windows 2000, still use it from time to time on the odd machine at work.
