Some mistake surely ntl won't have spent that amount of cash on Harmony, especially when one of the intentions of it was to integrate the Telewest CRM / billing, to drop it at first opportunity.

Saying that though this is ntl...

Re: ntl reports fourth quarter 2005 results

The fact of the matter is NTL have done a buy out of Telewest. The email POP servers have even changed to pop.ntl.com instead of pop3.blueyonder.co.uk. Ron Moody the previous chairman of NTL is now the new chairman of NTL/West. All the Telewest directors and CEOs have left and taken a big buyout sum with them. One of them used to be the owner of the San Diego Chargers so Telewest was just pocket change to him.

At the end of the day though you guys, the customers, are the most important fact to keep any blood sucking corparation like those 2 afloat. So I really hope the level of service you recieve is second to none. The sad thing though is for the employees because, from experience , I know that Telewest does not give a crap about them, they will suffer

One thing I can see happening fast that should be easy for them to do is reenforcing proxies on the telwest network.

UPC will be hunting after the company, possibly Comcast or TimeWarner cable but I'd say UPC would be the clear favourite at the moment.
