login to everywhere

Am I really becoming a grumpy old man?
There seems to be so many sites where we have to give username and password, if I go to " Woolies " to have a look round I don't have to leave my name and address at the door before they will let me in.

I wanted to find someone's postcode on the Royal Mail site, I have been there before and provided the info also activating the " remember me " box
but when I go there again and everything is autofilled I am told it is wrong Why?
I feel better now!!!

Have you tried bugmenot.com?

BugMeNot.com was created as a mechanism to quickly bypass the login of web sites that require compulsory registration and/or the collection of personal/demographic information

Re: login to everywhere

It is very good. However it won't always work (depends if it has a user submitted login/password) and it is no good for pay sites.
