And so it starts

First off i can see some here having a good giggle over this.


I have asked for my TV to be disconnected on the 30th of January. I confirmed when i spoke to retentions that i would ONLY have my tv disconnected and nothing else.


Sooooo

Today i lose my broadband and tv. Look down the road and there is a guy in the cab. So i shout him and ask him what he is doing. Says he is disconnecting as per his order.

So i tell him to reconnect as he has it wrong. He does that.

He then pulls up outside my house and says he has a order to disconnect my services. Broadband TV and Phone.

I tell him its on the 30th of January and its only TV. After some discussion he leaves.

I am now onto Customer services and have been for 15 mins and counting so i can then ask for the retensions number so i can ask what the hell is going on.

Now i know how some can get so upset with NTL.


They better not have me down for full disconnection as i might just take them up on it now.

Update

They had me down for TV only and it was for tomorrow.
1 month early

So have reset it for the 14th of jan lets see what happens then. Again i have been told it is TV only. What i am going to do in the mean time is find out how long for BT to install a phone should that get turned of on the 14th. At the sametime i can check on some Broadband suppliers as well.

What goes around and all that

mostly they do sort it

but when you get to the third and forth phone call you know things will just get worse lol

good luck any how i am waiting for my new bill on 3 for 30 offer with any luck no phone calls will be needed

Unfortunatly,disconnections are carried out by outside contractors,like Kelly Comms, & thats where the problem lies.
