Re: Redundant
Good luck Bill have a good holiday and perhaps a few conventions before you bother to find another job.
Many thanks for all the help you have given me over the years and I do realise just what NTL have lost by letting you go.
When ever you are passing you are still welcome to call for a coffee. Keep intouch Bill around here you made NTL, lets hope they can live without you.

I know that, but people often have somewhat mixed emotions. If however, you already have another job lined up...

Re: Redundant
wow, gobsmacked doesn't describe this, I know it is a small sample of NTL staff that we see on here, but they always willing to help & offer advice, because of focus on the customer. Some good ones have already been 'let go'.
In Bill C's & OB's case how on earth can they consider losing such experience with the Telewest merger imminent.
Never mind, I'm glad that you both feel this is best for you, personally, sincere good wishes for the future, I just can't believe the shortsightedness of 'beancounters'

Re: Redundant
Actually, I'm still quite surprised at the low amount of people being made redundant company wide. As both Bill and I are on 30 days consultation, this means that no more than 99 people are being made redundant company wide. Which at this time of year surprises me.
