Redundant
Just to let you all know that from the end of December i will no longer be working for NTL. Was given my 30 days notice of redundancy this morning  .
So after 13 years it goodbye to NTL.
The funny thing is i am not upset 1 little bit

13 years? :-)
Hope you got a good package mate!
I was made redundant two years ago and only got the gov statuary payment - not much after 5 years! Funny thing is - I'm now working again for the same company!

Hmm .. strange because very recently ntl were advertising on our local radio for CSAs

really sorry to hear about your news but pleased you've taken it so well. I find it hard to comprehend that such a publically loyal member of staff has been given redundancy.

I'm in that boat mate, I ws made redundant in July, and i'm still looking, there not much out here.
If your in a union I hope they fight and get a good deal for you.
