I'm about to have a Standalone Cable Modem installed later this week to get NTL's 10MB service.
I wish to use a Wireless Router / Cable Modem once this is setup
Could someone clarify whether I just need to purchase a Wireless Router and plug it into the Standalone Cable Modem or do I need to purchase a Wireless Cable Modem / Router
Also, whatever is the best way, is there a recommended make/model
Buy just a wireless router, designed for Cable, not ADSL with built in modem, you don't need the modem.
Plug your existing NTL modem into the socket marked internet on the rear of the router, and away you go, good one via link here: http://www.dsl-warehouse.co.uk/product.asp?pr=WRT54G
