Hi Guys, Great forum you have here, keep up the good work. Ok onto the issue, I have a telewest broadband connection to the back of my house which all works great for my PC. I also have the telewest STB cable TV for the front of my house. I have noticed the STB has an ethernet port in it. I have tried to connect my laptop to this ethernet port but it doesn't go online. Am l allowed to use the internet through the STB or do i need to configure the STB somehow. Any info would be appreciated.
TW only supply 1 connection per home so you would be best setting up home network, ie wireless router in order to get the broadband to front of house working on both machines.
As they can only supply one docsis file to a cable modem and one to a stb, not to both at the same time,
