The Toshiba by far, the Pentium M 735 will far outperform the Turon CPU, and the Centrino chipset's are amazing for wireless connectivity and are generally lighter and thinner etc.

Id say the Toshiba too.I've always been a fan of their notebooks. I have a Tosh Tecra with the PM Centrino 1.7 and the performance is great.I use the inbuilt card for wireless connectivity and it has no probs with dropped connections at all.

Definately the Toshiba, they're widely considered to be one of the best makers of notebooks, whilst HP are good, I've always thought them to be a bit shoddy.
