Email problem
Can anyone help?
I'm trying to send an email to a friend and keep getting an error message which is
A time-out occurred while communicating with the server. Subject 'Picture for website', Account: 'pop.ntlworld.com', Server: 'smtp.ntlworld.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC19
Can anyone tell me what this is?

Re: Email problem
I assume that your sending a picture.
It may be to big, try and zip it, or try and send an e-mail without any attachmentds

Re: Email problem
Can you send any emails using that account, or is it just this particular one?

Re: Email problem
Had exactly the same problem yesterday, with the same error code. Tried all sorts at first, disabling firewall etc. Then I read on MS website that it was a modem error. So I switched off pc and modem , turned back on and all was well again.

Re: Email problem
SMTP is slow at best and "unresponsive" most of today, trying to send a movie file of about 3Mb and it died half way.

Re: Email problem
I was having the same problem yesterday, sending 2mb jpgs. It's happened before. Seems to sort itself out eventually.
