Firefox Problems
See attached screenshot, past few days been having alot of problems with my stock themed and no add-on 1.07 FF.
This can be to posting threads on here, I hit submit starts loading slow, I have to hit stop then post again..then it posts.
Also pages load as the screenshot shows alot, and then I have to f5 to move pages.
I have IE7 as my other browser but prefer Firefox.
Is this a known bug or a setting disabled which I need?

Re: Firefox Problems
Cleared your temp files and cache? Could just be loading old page information and getting messed up.

Tools, Options, Privacy and clear the cache should fix it.

Re: Firefox Problems
Try uninstalling FF, reboot and delete the install directory, clear your recycle bin, re-install FF. Long winded but it could just be a damaged file.

Re: Firefox Problems
It now is running fine posting fine etc, then say I hit post reply on this now, it holds up.
I am pondering like you said Paul on the problem, shall see if it just cures itself.
I have changed and removed firewall settings for FF, could have been that acting up I guess.
Cheers for your help guys

Re: Firefox Problems
Try starting in Firefox's Safe Mode (shortcut in the Start Menu). Even though there are no extensions or themes installed it might as well be tried.
Many (or even most) of Firefox's problems stem from the Profiles folder. Perhaps create a new Profile (in addition to the one currently in use) for test purposes. It can always be deleted if it doesn't do any good ...or kept and built up to requirements if it does. The Profile is not replaced or affected by reinstalling FF.
To start the Profile Manager and create an additional Profile:
Go to: Start > Run. Type: firefox.exe -p and press OK. Create and give a name to the new Profile. Untick the box that says, 'Don't ask at startup' to make the Profile Manager start each time the FF shortcut is ticked. Choose which Profile FF should start with.
Edit: The above might be relevant but just looking into the FF forum and saw this thread:

Re: Firefox Problems
I have noticed that if you are using a particular theme which the auto update has on its list, you get an error during update. As soon as I changed style and manually select update (on the problem theme) there was no problem.

If you've been trying any of the beta versions of FF and then reverted to 1.07, you _definitely_ want to do as Paul suggests. Come to think of it, it's also advisable to do that before trying any of the beta versions anyway.
