Programme Rights Admin/User
HI all

I have an icon for a programme which I need to make avaliable to other users (at the moment it just appears when i log on as administrator)

How do I do this.............?

Open Windows Explorer as an Administrator user, browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Start Menu\Programs and copy the shortcut in question, and then browse to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs and paste the shortcut there. Should work, although I've not tried it presonally, so post back if it doesn't

Tried this but the icons do not appear under programmes.

Where does it appear on your log in? If it's on the desktop then you need to look in the correct place in the Docs and settings folders to find it.

Right click the desktop icon then click properties to find the location of the programme.

Log on as admin goto start programs browse to icon(or just find it elsewhere) right click on Icon select properties click compatability then tick allow non admins to run this program,I believe it will show up now for none admins
