It's cooooool, think of all those.....wires....and circuitboards /dreams

Seriously though, it might be interesting, that is if my image of glass walls and blue lights and racks of gajizmos with glowing glass threads plugged into a bajillion sockets....I'll stop now.

From what my Dad tells me who's work's office is down there, they moved 10 seconds down the road from one plain looking building to another...plain looking building, nothing to see apart from some dish thing on the roof.

Re: Where is the head end for neport wales located

The Swansea headend is equally unexciting from the outside- apart from a few satellite dishes, some random pieces of cabinet and a few ntl vans, you would miss it if you didn't know it was there.

Inside, however, .... oooooh shiny

Getting in to a HE is difficult even for directors.
My Mate works in a HE and escorted an ntl director out of the HE itself and into the hallway as he wasnt escorted and was not signed in lol

Blimey, I must be special, then. Was wandering around the Teesside one this week, and the Bromley one a few weeks ago...

The buildings are usually quite plain apart from the massive satellite dishes - helps to avoid attacks, I'm told. Some of those dishes though... Wow!

Now, why would anyone want to attack an NTL headend?

Anyway, here's a photo of our nearest one. You can just make out the dishes on the roof.
