Re: new channels???
Faze TV and Gaydar Radio are the ones which come to mind. Gaydate TV maybe, especially as the heterosexual version of this channel has been carried by ntl for three eyars, but not the gay version - The Dating Channel and Gaydate TV are owned by the same company.
Yes, Faze TV is a channel I would like to watch and Gaydar is a station I would like to listen to but ntl are clearly not going to allow me access to either channels. Can't say I'm surprised.

Re: new channels???
Good news article Simon, gotta love Ntl's blurb on this though:
Quote:
Q: Will Quiz Call broadcast the call charges?
A: Yes, below the telephone number is a line clearly stating that calls cost 60p from BT landlines, the presenters will also be clearly communicating this to the viewers and have received training on this.
|
Surely they could have included what the cost would be from an Ntl line!

Personally, I don't want to see these things on my or any tv. (that's television, not some sick peverse gender bender wearing womens clothes)
About time Motors was shown on NTL. Couldn't care less about most of the others but there ya go.

Don't think he was having a go at you, was he? Unless I'm mis-reading his post, he just said he doesn't want to watch those channels.

So kind of you to show me tollerance and respect. I hope you never expect to get any from others because they sure won't respect you when you say thigns like that.
I just hope you never have any children because I'd feel soory for them having a dad who says and believes what you just said.

Sounds like you agree with him Simon M.
Blimey I thought this world have moved on a bit. How sad that it hasn't and I feel deeply sorry for our future generations.

No, he was saying that gay people are "sick and perverse."

Re: new channels???
Glad to hear about those new channels, a few should be good.
I remember two summers ago we got alot of channels all at once, this is the same. There are VERY FEW other channels that sky has that are watchable.

Re: new channels???
Euronews is the only one which appeals to me in the slightest. Must say that I didn't expect it.

Happily but you have to appreciate that I am not going to allow people to make direct attacks on me or my sexuality without me challenging it. He's heterosexual I am gay. I don't go around calling him such things so I am not going to allow him to get away with him doing the same.
It is such a shame, and a sadness, that in 2005 I still have to hear/read such stuff simply because of my sexual orientation.

Re: new channels???
I wonder if Euronews will have the funky language selection thing they have on Telewest?
Shame about the channel numbers though.... I thought NTL were going to sort them out?
