Re: Harry Potter
I think the films are a poor by comparison to the books, i really enjoy reading them, half the fun is that your kinda there sneaking around with them (says the 29 year old ). The films just dont give me the same feeling of immersion.

Re: Harry Potter
I'm a fan (as are the wife and kids) and I will probably head down to Asda on the night.
I enjoy the films just as much as the books - for the most part the directors has conjured up a similar environment as we imagined.

Re: Harry Potter
I've read all the others, can't decide whether to bother with this one or not.
When I moved at the end of last year I didn't bring the HP books with me, I'm tempted to buy the boxed set when it comes out but TBH I know that there'll be another new book in a couple of years so that'll screw the set up.....

Re: Harry Potter
I couldn't be bothered to go out at night, so I went to Morrisons at 9am and they had plenty - only £7.95 for a '£16' book.
Read the first chapter - so far so good.

I am not saying a thing, now on chapter 7. Definatly worth a read though. Started reading and can't stop, its one of those 'oh I'll just read the next few pages and see what happens' books.
