Glasto BBCi

Just thought people might like to know that the interactive Glasto coverage on BBC3 is working. Multiscreen, choose your bands, fantastic

Re: Glasto BBCi

Also able to report the fully functioning Glasto stuff on BBCi here, with a Samsung box, but it'll be a bit flaky with the Pace upstairs I know, cause the last few weeks its either locked up or shown the error box at certain times when using either normal walled garden or red button stuff.

But then, it was a reconditioned box after all. Otherwise it looks like an excellent application and the numbered streams are an improvement. Now, given that BBCi can do multiscreens for the tennis and glastonbury without any obvious code updating on the Bromley side, how come the can't use the streams for the oft requested news multiscreens whenever there isn't a big "event" needing them?

Don't seem to have the option down here in Brighton. When the bridge loads, the two ETV options are Wimbledon, and Come and Have a Go.

Might try a reboot in a minute.

It's only got Wimbledon here and that should be finishing soon.

It's on BBC3 at the moment

Re: Glasto BBCi

Will it only appear when Wimbledon has finished then? Wimbledon option is still available. I take it this comes down to the number of streams ntl have allocated to the BBC for interactive use.

Wimbledon is still on.

I don't if this is right, but I thought that they only had a limited number of streams, like you said, so with them doing that come and have a go & wimbledon...

Re: Glasto BBCi

It must be that. The thing is, Come and Have a Go was simply an overlay, explaining how to play via Satellite or Freeview, or by text, and that they hope to have a play along service on cable at some point in the future. Totally pointless.

I also fail to see how they could have both running on Langley, yet not have enough streams for Bromley.

Ah well, hopefully it'll appear in a bit.
