Prem Plus
Yup i know its a bit early but does anyone know how ntl will be managing prem plus this time around. ie will existing PP customers have to opt out if they dont want it, or (hopefully) opt in again if they want it. (you can probably tell that i'm not keen on having it again)

Re: Prem Plus
We had it for last season when it was £1 a month to have it. When the season ended, we got a letter saying that the season had finished so the channel would be stopped and the £1 a month charge stopped. We needed to request for it to continue for the next season, but as they whacked a massive charge on it like Sky do, we decided against it.
But, this seasons PremPlus was a 1 off fee wasnt it? Like on Sky? If so, I imagine you'd need to request it for next season, but I'm sure someone will come on here and prove me right/wrong

Re: Prem Plus
yes it was a one off up front £50. Not great value for money imo.

Re: Prem Plus
I paid my subscription for the season just finished, monthly on my DD, £4.99 per month. If I only watched 10 games it would have saved me £10 at the £6.00 a game book on the day fee, so I would disagree that what not value for money. If I had watched every game it would have cost me £1.00 per game.

Re: Prem Plus
It's a bit of a price hike though isnt it? From £1pm (for the 9mths that the football season goes on for) which ends up at less than £10, to £50 for the same time period... which then they said would cost £75! Just a bit of a hike.

Re: Prem Plus
Nothing has been finalised yet with regard to the prices. Last season Sky had full rights to the Prem Plus so they determined the price hence such a big increase for customers

Re: Prem Plus
i had to pay it as a one off amount last season as well !! It annoyed me so much having to fork out for SS 1, 2, 3 and then £50 on top for prem plus that i wont be renewing it. I only watched half the games anyhow.
