Another thing ive noticed about dell and thats the cases mobos and often the cpu coolers are none standard.

The mobo will not fit in another case, the cpu coolers ive seen are totally different in how they fit as to make finding a cooler for a larger cpu difficult,

Also a lot of dell machines come with onboard gfx even some of the more expensive models only come with an x300
Yes Dell make excellent machines,but in my opinion they are restricted in purpose so unless you want a real good office and general purpose machine(and not a gaming machine) it might be better to look elsewhere
