Re: 550 Quid for a new gaming pc
I think 512 will be enough to go with for now,as for what you buy next as long as its the same speed the pc will run with the settings of the lowest step so you could just bung a desent 512 stick at and you should be ok,you going with mesh then?

Re: 550 Quid for a new gaming pc
PMSL Richard I am tempted to run it on 512mb and then pay over odds though once I am paid again and shove in 1gb of Crucial Ballistic. If I can get it in DDR400, or be nice to the girlfriend and get 150 more of her for the 1gb.

For the performance increase you will get you may as well shove 512 of kingston in along what you get ,then you can wine dine and ...(romance) your g.f with the rest

Re: 550 Quid for a new gaming pc
Is it really worth upgrading from the 6600 if I want to play the latest games? Is the x700 pro much better than it? I'm gonna order from Mesh and just wondered.

Re: 550 Quid for a new gaming pc
Well they have been open today as per there site says and my order went in around 7pm last night, but no e-mail confirmation of payment taken or anything so I assume I now have to wait, until Monday before payment is took.
Whats my chances of it arriving sometime next week?
