Night-time intruder rapes child

A young schoolgirl was raped during the night in her own home by a stranger, police have revealed.
The child, aged under 10 years old, was attacked on a housing estate in Basildon, Essex.
Officers are interviewing five other children and the girl's mother, who were in the house at the time.
Detectives described the rape, which happened overnight on Wednesday, as horrendous and said it was every parent's nightmare.

no take these people to the middle of a desert and give the 1 litre of water then shoot them in the stomach a very slow painful death thet cannot eat or drink due to the stomach wound.
Or give them to the mothers of the victims (hell have no fury like a morther with an abused child)

This is one of the cases where the death penalty would be be applauded by many. But since we don't have that option, I agree that he should be locked up for life. However, the chances are that we would get some bleeding heart liberal type claiming that we should try to understand the offender, maybe counsel them, and try to integrate them back into society once they had served their time. Or some other such cr*p.

There are no words to adequately express my disgust at this appalling tragedy; another young life ruined by a selfish and terrible act that deserves punishment to the full extent of the law.
I cannot imagine my own children being molested in one room whilst I am asleep in another - it makes my blood run cold. With the absence of capital punishment, I agree that this 'person' should be locked up until the day they die.
